How do I make a stream go live automatically on a schedule?
If you broadcast on a regular cadence — a weekly show, a service, a class — you don’t want to rely on someone remembering to start the stream. Scheduling makes it automatic.
One-off vs recurring schedules
A one-off schedule arms a single stream to go live at a set time and stop at another — handy for a specific event. A recurring schedule repeats weekly (e.g. every Sunday 10:00–11:30), which suits services, classes and regular shows.
How it works in practice
You still publish your feed from your encoder, but the platform enables the stream at the start time and disables it at the end automatically — so the relay is ready exactly when you need it and switches off when you’re done, without manual steps in the booth.
Frequently asked questions
Can I schedule a stream to repeat every week?
Yes — Stream Repeater supports repeating weekly windows as well as one-off go-live/go-offline times.
Does scheduling start my encoder too?
No — you still publish your feed; scheduling controls when the stream is enabled and relayed, so it’s live exactly during your window.
