How do I restream on XSplit Broadcaster?

XSplit Broadcaster is a polished Windows encoder with channel-based outputs. For restreaming, you only need one custom RTMP output pointed at Stream Repeater; the relay does the rest.

Create one Custom RTMP channel

Open XSplit Broadcaster, add a new output, choose Custom RTMP, and paste the ingest URL and stream key from your Stream Repeater stream page.

That gives you one outbound channel in XSplit while keeping the actual multistream distribution on the server side.

Leave the rest to the relay

XSplit can create multiple outputs, but that is not necessary here. Send one clean program feed to Stream Repeater and add your destinations in the dashboard so your upload does not multiply.

Use sensible quality settings

Choose a bitrate and resolution that your connection can hold with headroom, and keep the keyframe interval compatible with the major platforms you are targeting. If the source is stable, the relay can fan it out reliably.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to use multiple XSplit outputs?

No. One Custom RTMP output into Stream Repeater is enough.

Is XSplit slower than OBS for restreaming?

The restreaming model is the same; the difference is mostly in interface and workflow, not the relay path.
